The trees, wreaths and other holiday décor now on display in the main lobby at Greene County Medical Center are part of the auxiliary’s “Holiday of Lights” silent auction.
The public is invited to view the wonderful display now through Dec. 6, when the silent auction ends at 3 pm.
This year, the auxiliary is hosting a public open house on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 7 pm. This special event will give the public an opportunity to view the trees, wreaths and holiday decorations in a casual and festive setting. Light refreshments will be served.
Medical center departments, local organizations and individuals have decorated more than 45 trees, wreaths and other holiday décor. Not only is the Holiday of Lights festive, it’s a good fundraiser as well. The silent auction raises money for a great cause – all funds raised by this year’s Holiday of Lights will benefit the medical center’s 3D mammography campaign.
The auxiliary will end its 2017 fundraising efforts on Thursday, Dec. 7, with its annual homemade candy sale. Plates of candies and other holiday goodies will be available for sale in the main lobby starting at 7 am until all items are gone.
